The 2nd prize winner of the Yamaki Katsuobushi Recipe Contest
This is a popular Spanish dish that incorporates olive oil and garlic, but now with a Japanese twist! Serve it hot to maximize the fusion of Spanish and Japanese flavors. It’s an extremely satisfying meal that goes well with wine, beer, and especially Japanese rice wine. The recipe doesn’t use anchovies for a lighter taste, which accentuates the garlic. The ingredients are simple; you only need katsuobushi, garlic, and dried chili peppers.
